Job Title: Deputy Project Manager
Job Description:
Our company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join us as a Deputy Project Manager for a dynamic road construction project. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in roads construction and proficiency in technical office management.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing and overseeing the entire road construction project, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Take charge of technical office responsibilities, including coordinating with subcontractors, managing cash flow, and ensuring efficient project documentation.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager, engineers, and other team members to achieve project goals, resolve issues, and maintain effective communication.
  • Implement and monitor quality control processes, ensuring that construction activities align with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Identify challenges and proactively implement solutions, contributing to the overall success of the project.
  • Generate regular progress reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Fluency in Romanian is a requirement
  • Proven experience as a Deputy Project Manager with a focus on roads construction. Technical office management experience is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex road construction projects, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • In-depth understanding of technical office procedures, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and unforeseen challenges.
