QC Manager - Road and Bridge Construction - Conțești, Dâmbovița ( Targoviste), Romania
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain a comprehensive quality control program.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, codes, and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of construction sites, materials, and workmanship.
- Oversee material testing processes and collaborate with testing agencies.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and non-conformance reports.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality issues.
- Provide training on quality control procedures to construction teams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to best practices.
- Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues, implementing corrective actions.
- Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the quality control program.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Fluency in Romanian is a requirement
- Proven experience as a QC Manager preferable in road and bridge construction.
- Relevant certifications in quality control and construction management are a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with local construction regulations.
- Proficient in relevant software and tools for quality control documentation.
