Civil Engineer CFDP - Civil Works ( Road & Bridges)
Responsibilities:
- Organize activities on-site and work fronts to meet project deadlines;
- Verify and approve the implementation of materials in accordance with the specifications;
- Prepare the supply requirements;
- Cooperate and maintain good relationships with designers, site managers, technical supervisors, specialized companies, and subcontractors;
- Prepare necessary documents for the correct progress of activities on construction sites (observation notes, NCS, NR);
- Monitor material and labor consumption;
- Verify the project and its quantity lists and actively participate in preparing tender requests for the execution of works;
- Identify and report any errors found in the project, requesting clarifications or technical solutions from the designer;
- Plan projects to ensure compliance with delivery deadlines, contractual conditions, and design methodology;
- Manage the technical and administrative aspects of the construction site;
- Propose optimization solutions in execution or for improving the quality of works/reducing execution costs and/or optimizing execution times;
- Ensure compliance with specifications from the technical execution project;
- Implement measures for safety and health at work;
- Collaborate with designers, subcontractors, and relevant government institutions during inspections; Monthly reporting on the progress of work execution and presentation of work planning for the following month;
- Active participation in creating/updating the execution schedule and ensuring its adherence;
- Continuous coordination with other specialized departments, external collaborators, and authorities involved in the project.
- Civil Engineer specialized in Railways, Roads, and Bridges construction;
- Experience in a similar position;
- Knowledge of current legislation in the construction industry;
- Proficiency in English;
- Fluency in Romanian is a requirement
- Organizational, communication, and planning skills;
- Ability to manage human and material resources under their supervision.
