Project Manager - Consultant Role


Location: Skelleftea, Sweden
Duration: 6 Months, Rolling Contract (Expected to Last Minimum of 2 Years)
Start Date: ASAP

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced consultant to take on the role of Project Manager within a leading manufacturing project in  Sweden. This is a dynamic consultant position that offers the opportunity to lead crucial manufacturing programs and drive significant outcomes within the organization.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Own and effectively manage individual programs within the manufacturing portfolio, ensuring they align with the overarching project objectives.
  • Develop and implement detailed program plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely achievement of all project milestones.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive schedules, monitor program progress, and proactively identify and address potential risks or delays.
  • Work closely with senior management to ensure program plans are well-integrated with overall portfolio strategies.
  • Lead thorough risk analysis and develop robust mitigation strategies to safeguard program outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and direction to support resources assigned to the program, ensuring efficient task completion and program success.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Industrial fields preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management roles, with at least 5 years in manufacturing program management.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and launching production initiatives.
  • Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage programs with minimal supervision.
  • Expert proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 ePPM.
  • Strong knowledge of program management methodologies, particularly in schedule creation and execution.
  • Familiarity with current manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while adapting to changing priorities.
