Job Description: Hull Structural Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Develop Detailed Work Instructions: Provide clear and precise work instructions for production employees to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
- Maintain Material Take-Off (MTO): Accurately manage the Material Take-Off to ensure all necessary materials are listed and available for production.
- Prepare Production Drawings: Create and revise detailed production drawings for hull structures in compliance with project specifications.
- Provide Engineering Information & Tooling Instructions: Deliver comprehensive engineering packages, including tooling instructions, to support production teams and ensure alignment with design plans.
- Raw Material Management: Efficiently manage and order raw materials, ensuring timely availability and minimizing waste.
- Implement Quality Controls: Indicate and enforce quality controls according to the testing and inspection plan to maintain high standards of structural integrity.
- Manage Workflow of Structural Manufacturing: Oversee and coordinate the entire workflow of the structural manufacturing process, ensuring timely completion of tasks and optimal resource utilization.
Profile: Are you the Hull Structural Engineer we are looking for?
- Educational Background: A professional education (MBO 4) in Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with manufacturing, engineering, and/or design software such as SAP, 3DX, Teamcenter, Cadmatic, or Inventor.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in manufacturing, engineering, or design, particularly in hull structures or related sectors.
- EU Nationality: Due to military projects, EU nationality is required for this role.
