Sales Engineer for Process Technology
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support existing business and maintain customer relationships.
- Acquire market knowledge and continuously identify new customers.
- Identify new business opportunities, including industries, suppliers, and related activities.
- Collaborate with suppliers and partner companies, providing daily support.
- Frequent local and international travel to monitor market trends.
- Process customer inquiries with support from the back-office team and suppliers.
- Track and follow up on offers to ensure deal closures.
- Conduct technical and commercial negotiations with customers.
- Responsible for order intake budget and margin in the assigned division.
- Report to suppliers and company management.
- Participate in business development activities, including trade fairs and marketing initiatives.
- Work independently in the market.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Technical education with a minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience.
- Knowledge of key industries such as pharma, cosmetics, food & beverage, chemicals, and petrochemicals is an advantage.
- Proven experience in B2B sales.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and target-oriented.
- Ability to find technical solutions with internal and external support.
- Team-oriented mindset, willing to share expertise and knowledge.
- Fluency in Romanian and English.
- Team management experience is a plus.
