The Construction discipline within the Engineering department is responsible for the engineering and realization of the entire hull of the superyacht. So you will be working on engineering the construction of the complete Casco.Temporary Engineer Construction | Kaag or Amsterdam.
As a Yacht Construction Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical execution of assigned project scopes, ensuring the highest standards in design, structural modelling, and engineering documentation. Working closely with project teams, you will play a key role in the constructability and feasibility of each super yacht, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Develop and refine detailed engineering designs, structural models, and technical drawings specific to super yachts.
- Ensure compliance with Class and Flag regulations, as well as internal project specifications tailored to the super yacht industry.
- Conduct technical assessments to guarantee the constructability and feasibility of super yacht designs. Identify and solve technical bottlenecks, providing solutions and recommendations.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, production teams, and project leads to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality super yacht projects.
- A Bachelor's or Master's education in Naval Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience as an Engineer in Shipbuilding.
- Proven experience in an engineering role focused on Construction, Casco builds within the shipbuilding industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software and 3d modelling tools. Autocad, Cadmatic and NX knowledge.
