Sales Engineer – Industrial Valves & Process Technology
Location: Remote (Romania – Bucharest or Cluj preferred)
Travel: Monthly travel to Bucharest required

IBD Romania is seeking a technically skilled and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team, supporting business development for Industrial Valves and Process Technology solutions across the Romanian market. This is a remote role, ideally based in Bucharest or Cluj, with monthly travel to Bucharest for team and client meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities within industrial sectors (e.g. oil & gas, chemical, power generation, water treatment, and food industries)
Manage and grow relationships with existing customers, offering tailored solutions based on their process needs
Provide technical consultation and product presentations related to industrial valves, actuators, and process technology equipment
Support the sales cycle from lead generation through negotiation to after-sales service
Collaborate with international suppliers and technical teams to propose optimal solutions
Monitor market trends and competitors to adjust sales strategies accordingly
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Process, Industrial, or similar)
Proven B2B technical sales experience, ideally in industrial equipment, process engineering, or valve technology
Strong understanding of industrial processes and ability to discuss technical specifications with engineers and purchasing teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Romanian
Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently
Willingness to travel regularly (mostly within Romania)
