Job Summary

Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of its Gas-Power Plant facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across all plant activities. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily plant operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and reliability.
• Implement and monitor operational procedures and best practices.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and HSE teams to ensure seamless plant performance.
• Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with local and international safety and environmental regulations.
• Support the Plant Manager in strategic planning and resource management.
• Lead and mentor operational staff, fostering a culture of accountability and development.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and emergency response planning.
• Drive initiatives for cost optimization and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in plant or industrial operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Solid understanding of energy production processes and operational workflows.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Romanian is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CMMS and operational reporting tools.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement certifications are a plus.
