Job Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance activities within a Gas-Power Plant. The successful candidate will ensure the reliability and efficiency of plant equipment, coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, and lead a team of technicians and engineers. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and supervise all maintenance operations in the Gas-Power Plant.
Ensure timely execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
Manage and lead maintenance teams, including technicians and engineers.
Coordinate with operations and engineering departments to optimize equipment performance.
Maintain compliance with Romanian and EU safety and environmental regulations.
Monitor maintenance KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and procurement processes.
Ensure proper documentation and reporting of maintenance activities.
Support audits, inspections, and emergency response planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial or power plant maintenance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of maintenance practices for thermal or combined-cycle power plants.
Familiarity with Romanian energy regulations and international maintenance standards.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Fluency in English and Romanian is required.
Preferred Skills
Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
Certification in reliability engineering or maintenance management is a plus.
