Job Summary

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance activities within a Gas-Power Plant. The successful candidate will ensure the reliability and efficiency of plant equipment, coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, and lead a team of technicians and engineers. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise all maintenance operations in the Gas-Power Plant.
• Ensure timely execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Manage and lead maintenance teams, including technicians and engineers.
• Coordinate with operations and engineering departments to optimize equipment performance.
• Maintain compliance with Romanian and EU safety and environmental regulations.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and procurement processes.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of maintenance activities.
• Support audits, inspections, and emergency response planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial or power plant maintenance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance practices for thermal or combined-cycle power plants.
• Familiarity with Romanian energy regulations and international maintenance standards.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Romanian is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Certification in reliability engineering or maintenance management is a plus.
