Role Overview

We are looking for skilled Cadmatic Piping Designers to join complex shipbuilding and superyacht projects in a high-performance engineering environment.

You will be responsible for developing detailed piping models and production drawings based on basic design documentation. The role requires technical accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to work independently while maintaining strict quality standards.

For senior candidates, Team Lead opportunities are available, including coordination of small design teams and technical alignment with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and detail piping systems using Cadmatic Piping

• Create 3D models and production drawings based on basic design input

• Ensure piping layouts comply with technical standards, class rules, and project specifications

• Prepare and support Bill of Materials (BOM) where required

• Coordinate with hull, outfitting, and engineering teams to ensure integration

• Maintain focus on quality, efficiency, and planning milestones

(For Team Lead profiles):

• Coordinate and guide a team of piping designers

• Monitor progress, quality, and workload distribution

• Act as technical interface between design and project management

Profile Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of design experience in shipbuilding or related industries

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Cadmatic Piping

• 6 months to 1 year of superyacht experience preferred

• Ability to work independently based on basic design documentation

• BOM experience is a plus

• Structured, quality-focused, and able to work at a steady pace

• Strong communication skills (especially for Team Lead candidates)

• Valid EU work permit / right to work in the Netherlands is required
