We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor / Electrical Inspector for a vessel conversion project in Singapore. The role involves onboard electrical inspection, yard coordination, commissioning support, and close collaboration with the ship’s Chief Electrician, Owner, and Shipyard teams.

Critical Requirements

• Profound experience with electrical installations on newbuilding vessels
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
• Hands-on shipboard electrical experience
• Ability to support insulation resistance testing, I/O tests, sensor testing, and commissioning activities
• Ability to identify systems and cabling together with the yard
• Experience monitoring yard cable installation works
• Ability to cross-check drawings against actual vessel installation
• Comfortable working onboard and assisting the ship’s Chief Electrician
• Good written and spoken English
• Professional attitude toward Owner and Shipyard representatives

Important Requirements

• Practical electrical troubleshooting and testing experience
• Experience in shipyard, newbuild, conversion, or commissioning environments
• Familiarity with ship systems, automation, sensors, control systems, cables, panels, and marine electrical installations
• Supervisory or coordination capability

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Cruise ship, offshore, DP, or complex vessel experience
• STCW ETO / Electrical Officer background
• High-voltage or automation experience
