Job description

Your role in the team

The Technical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the operational, technical, and financial management and will act as key contact person internally and externally for all yacht related communication.

You work under the Head of Fleet Management.

Fortunately, we can count on you for the following:

• You are the first point of contact for technical matters and follow up on all aspects of statutory compliance and vessel classification
• You define, review, and monitor the annual OPEX and drydock proposals, as well as the yacht’s operating budget
• You report to the Head of Fleet Management and keep them continuously informed about ongoing activities
• You review the vessel’s ISM annually in collaboration with HSEQ and the vessel’s crew

Profile

• Maritime Academy graduate or equivalent experience
• Experience on commercial yachts or commercial vessels.
• Extensive knowledge of Ship Management and administration, technical aspects of yachts (new build and maintenance), relevant yachting legislation.
• Good knowledge of navigation, insurance, accounting, yacht maintenance and upkeeping and budget management.
• Fluent in written and spoken English. 
• EU right to work
