To support its continued growth, the company is looking for a Commercial Pricing Manager who will play a key role in pricing strategy, profitability analysis, commercial decision support, and customer business performance.

Role Overview

The Commercial Pricing Manager is responsible for developing pricing strategies, analyzing profitability, supporting commercial negotiations, and providing data-driven recommendations that improve business performance.

This role combines pricing expertise, financial analysis, and commercial insight to ensure sustainable and profitable growth. Working closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Program Management, the successful candidate will translate complex commercial and financial data into actionable business decisions.

This position is ideal for a professional with strong analytical and pricing capabilities. Previous experience in manufacturing or aerospace is considered an advantage but is not essential.

Key Responsibilities

Pricing & Profitability

  • Develop pricing proposals, pricing scenarios, and commercial business cases.
  • Perform post-calculation analyses by comparing quoted assumptions with actual business performance.
  • Analyze margins, profitability, pricing trends, and cost drivers to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Build profitability dashboards, margin bridges, and commercial performance reports.
  • Maintain pricing models, pricing tools, indexation mechanisms, and commercial documentation.
  • Support commercial negotiations with pricing analyses and financial simulations.

Commercial Performance Analysis

  • Monitor sales performance, margins, backlog, claims, credits, profitability, and commercial risks.
  • Identify business opportunities and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations to support management decision-making.
  • Support demand consolidation, forecast analysis, orderbook reviews, and commercial planning activities.
  • Develop structured analytical reports to support customer discussions and internal business reviews.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Sales to validate commercial assumptions and cost inputs.
  • Coordinate commercial activities related to RFQs, engineering changes, and customer requests.
  • Ensure consistency between pricing strategies and operational capabilities.
  • Drive cross-functional actions to improve commercial performance and profitability.

Candidate Profile

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Pricing, Commercial Finance, Business Controlling, Commercial Excellence, Business Analysis, or a similar analytical commercial role.
  • Strong understanding of pricing methodologies, profitability analysis, margin management, and financial modelling.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
  • Experience with Power BI, ERP systems, SAP, or business intelligence tools is considered an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into practical business recommendations.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how pricing decisions impact profitability and customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Operations, and Management.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Proactive, structured, and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with concepts such as BOMs, costing structures, routings, or production economics is a plus but not a mandatory requirement.
