Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive global structural assessments of vessels.

• Analyze longitudinal and transverse strength to ensure vessel structural integrity.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for feasibility studies.

• Perform detailed manual calculations and utilize specialized software for ship structure assessments.

• Handle structural requests such as heavy equipment positioning, sea-fastening calculations, and global/local assessments for conversions.

• Ensure all structural designs and assessments meet relevant regulations and standards.

• Contribute to research and development of new technologies and designs.

Your Profile:

• Experienced FEM Engineer with expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and calculations in the Maritime industry.

• Minimum bachelor's degree in a technical field, preferably Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience in the Maritime or Offshore sectors.

• Proficient in structural and FEA software such as ANSYS, NX, or FEMAP.

• Excellent English skills, both spoken and written.
