You will lead the Design & Engineering team, overseeing detailed piping design activities for both new construction and retrofit/conversion projects. This leadership role requires extensive knowledge of piping design principles, strong project management capabilities to balance multiple projects simultaneously, and exceptional communication skills to effectively coordinate across departments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and direction to team members, applying specialized knowledge of engineering principles and best practices within the discipline.
- Lead the development of 3D models from P&ID schemes and diagrams, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Oversee the creation of detailed and production-level drawings by the team.
- Ensure the use of controlled design and engineering tools (such as calculation spreadsheets) for consistent and accurate project execution.
- Conduct preliminary reviews of team deliverables to maintain high standards before formal internal checks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in piping design or marine engineering design, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong expertise with P&ID schemes and diagrams.
- Excellent English proficiency, especially in industry-specific language.
