Sales Engineer for Industrial Valves

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Maintain and support existing customers.
  • Continuously research and acquire new customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including new industries and suppliers.
  • Work closely with suppliers and partner companies, providing daily support.
  • Travel frequently to gather market insights and maintain business relationships.
  • Handle customer inquiries in collaboration with the back-office team and suppliers.
  • Track, follow up, and close deals effectively.
  • Conduct technical and commercial negotiations with customers.
  • Ensure budget and margin targets are met within the assigned division.
  • Provide regular reports to suppliers and company management.
  • Participate in trade fairs and marketing activities for business development.
  • Act independently in the market.

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Technical education with a minimum of 3 years of technical knowledge.
  • Experience in industries such as pharma, cosmetics, food & beverage, chemicals, and petrochemicals is beneficial.
  • Strong background in B2B sales.
  • High-level communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and proactive.
  • Ability to identify and implement technical solutions with internal and external resources.
  • Team player with a willingness to share knowledge.
  • Fluent in Romanian and English.
  • Experience in team management is an advantage.
