You will be part of the Design & Engineering Department, focusing on detailed piping design for both new construction and retrofit/conversion projects. This role requires a deep understanding of piping design principles, strong project management skills for handling multiple projects simultaneously, and effective communication to collaborate with other departments.
Responsibilities:
- Apply general and specialized knowledge of engineering principles and practices within your discipline.
- Create 3D models from P&ID schemes and diagrams.
- Develop detailed and production-level drawings.
- Utilize controlled design and engineering tools (such as calculation spreadsheets) to execute project tasks.
- Review your work carefully before submitting deliverables for internal review.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in piping design or a marine engineering design environment.
- Strong understanding of P&ID schemes and diagrams.
- Proficiency in English, particularly industry-specific terminology.
